Mountain biking has become a year-round sport in Fernie with the addition of fat biking during the snowy months. April/May is the start of the primary mountain bike season and goes right into early November, then fat (snow) biking starts until April. Explore Fernie's 109+ trails - primarily singletrack, in summer play at the Dirt Jump & Skills Park or head to Fernie Alpine Resort's Lift Access Bike Park.

Set against the peaks of BC's Canadian Rockies, Fernie’s pristine waters, freestone rivers and clear lakes make it one of the most stunning and productive dry fly destinations in the world.

Fernie is just a 45 minute drive north of the Montana USA border, 2 hours from Kalispell/Glacier Airport and 3 hours from Calgary.
